Have you ever noticed how babies and little kids stare at each other? It is true fascination! When we used to take our little ones into the supermarket, with all the bright colored packages, and sounds and balloons at the registers, etc; you’d think they would be overstimulated!… but it was all so ho-hum. But as soon as another shopping cart with a baby passed by, bam! The head whipped around and they just stared!
Now another thing that gets their attention is Teddy Bears. Why?
Here’s our daughter as a baby: See where her eyes are?.. about half way down her face and near the center line of the oval. And she still has the typical baby’s button nose as well.

Now here is a typical cute teddy bear … same proportions! Big dark eyes well down the face, and cute little button nose… very much the same proportions as a baby’s face, and attractive to all kids (and most adults as well!)

“Snuggle Bear,” – mascot for the softening sheets.
For over a hundred years, Teddy Bears have been the most popular selling doll in America. And now you know why!
